Claire Ogden – Staff Director

Claire has worked in health and social care since the mid 1990s, beginning her career as an apprentice before progressing through roles including support worker, team leader and manager. Over the years, she has built a deep understanding of frontline practice, service delivery and organisational development, which now underpins her work as the Quality and Compliance Manager.

She was one of the original group of staff that transferred from Rochdale Council to PossAbilities as part of our ‘spin out’ in 2014. In fact, she was part of the group that devised our original mission statement and values.

In her current role, Claire is responsible for ensuring that high standards of quality, safety and compliance are consistently met across all service areas. She particularly enjoys getting out and about, visiting different services, meeting staff and seeing first hand the fantastic work taking place across the organisation.

Outside of work, Claire’s two sons are now grown up, and life at home is brightened by Lola — the much loved PossAbilities dog who has settled in as a fully-fledged member of the family.
